Which Sneaker is Best for Skinny Guys

If you’re a skinny guy, you want shoes that don’t make you legs look thin. There are plenty of popular bulky style shoes that unfortunately will draw attention to your skinny legs. On the bright side, there are many shoes that will make your legs look good and proportionate.

Boating shoes, tennis shoes and converse are great shoe styles that look good on skinny guys. It’s important to choose a sleek shoe and avoid bulky sneakers.

Bulky shoes, also known as “dad shoes”, have become popular in the last few years. As a skinny guy, this is one style you are going to want to avoid.

Wearing bulky shoes will make your feet look very big and wide which will draw attention to your thin legs. This will look very awkward and it’s better to go with one of the styles mentioned above.

Personally, I think tennis shoes look a lot sleeker than those bulky “dad” shoes and are more attractive on skinny guys.

If you’re a skinny guy like me, you’re probably cursed with having skinny legs and skinny ankles. Rather than fight it trying to get bigger legs, it’s easier to find styles that look good on skinny guys.

Shoes play an important roll in making your legs and ankles look bigger, but so do the pants you wear. It’s important to wear proper fitting sweatpants, joggers or jeans in order to make your legs look thicker.

If you have skinny legs and ankles, it’s better to wear low top sneakers. If you choose to wear high tops, it will draw attention to your legs and make them look disproportionate.

Instead, try some tennis shoes. They will fit nicely around the ankles and they have a long and thin look that will make your skinny legs look natural.

When I was in high school, I was insecure about my skinny legs and I tried all sorts of shoes. Eventually, I stumbled across the Adidas Stan Smith and it was a total game changer.
