In short, yes the Nike Blazers are worth it. In today’s sneaker market, It’s hard to find a shoe that is popular, versatile and stylish while being priced around $100. These shoes have a retro look and they are easy to clean, which is great for daily wear.

5 Reasons Why Nike Blazers are Good Shoes

It’s no secret that the Nike Blazers have a unique retro style. With retro looks coming back into style, it’s no surprise that the Nike Blazer is so popular.
The leather upper, suede toe box, mixed with the big swoosh logo and the nylon tongue gives these Nike shoes a very cool look. The exposed foam tongue and Nike tongue tag really stands out, which gives these shoes a retro and unfinished look.
You can tell Nike paid attention to detail on the suede accents all over the lower part of this shoe. Additionally, the gum sole gives excellent traction and fits the shoes aesthetic very nicely.
These shoes come in two different styles, the Nike Blazer Mid ’77 and the Nike Blazer Low ’77. The mid version has a high-top design and looks more like a basketball shoe. Whereas the low version looks like a skate shoe.
Which style you choose really comes down to the preference and look that you prefer. Personally, I went with the blazer lows as I am on the shorter side and I like the look of a low top sneaker.

When it comes to sneakers at the $100 price point, it’s hard to find a pair that is as trendy and stylish as the Nike Blazers are at this moment.
For around $100, you can get a pair of Stan Smiths, Nike Air Force 1’s, Converse or Nike Air Max. I’d argue that out of all of these sneakers, the Nike Blazer is currently the coolest one out and it’s the best value.
The other shoes mentioned above are very basic sneakers which have been around for years. The Nike Blazer has just recently come back into style and the blazer silhouettes feel fresh and exciting.
The stylish look and great pricing has taken the sneaker world by storm. These shoes have been flying off of shelves at Foot Locker, Champs and the Nike store and are some of the best selling sneakers this year.

The Nike Blazers are pretty comfortable. However, they do have a hard sole and a narrow fit so they are not the best for those who have wide feet.
When I was travelling, I took many long walks in different cities, and I never found the shoes to be uncomfortable. The gum sole offers superior grip to most other shoes, which is a huge bonus.
If you’re looking for a shoe that offers extra support around the ankle, go for the high-top design. The high-top version was originally a basketball shoe, so they will give you the support you need around the ankles.
These shoes are not as comfortable as athletic shoes like the Adidas Ultraboost or Nike sneakers that are meant for running. However, they are still comfortable enough to be worn for long periods of time.
