Nike and Adidas are the biggest sportswear brands in the world, which has many people wondering whether it’s okay to wear them both at the same time. Some consumers are loyal to Nike and others are loyal to Adidas, but what about those who like both brands?
Is it Weird to Wear Nike and Adidas Together?
Wearing Nike and Adidas together is a personal choice and it is up to the consumer. Nike and Adidas are the two biggest sportswear brands in the world and have curated loyal fanbases. Those loyal Nike and Adidas fans, will never wear the brands together, especially at the same time. On the other hand, there are many people who appreciate both brands and will mix and match Nike and Adidas.

Should You Wear Multiple Brands at The Same Time?
Wearing different brands at the same time is a personal choice. At the end of the day, unless you’re a Celebrity or Instagram model getting paid by a brand, there’s no reason to feel like you shouldn’t mix brands.
If you think your outfit looks better by wearing different brands, then go for it. When I choose my outfits I prioritize comfort and the look. Mixing brands is not a concern at all.
The only time when mixing brands doesn’t work is when the brand’s logo is plastered everywhere. For example, a sweater that says “Champion” all over it does not go well with Adidas track pants.
Is Adidas More Popular Than Nike?
Worldwide, Nike is more popular than Adidas. In 2020, it was reported that Nike made 37.40 billion dollars in revenue, where as Adidas made around 11 billion dollars in revenue. Both brands are extremely popular but Nike has been the most popular sportswear brand for decades.
How Nike Increased Their Popularity
Nike has a huge presence in the United States of America, where as Adidas is very popular across Europe. Nike has done a great job at growing their brand through partnerships with athletes like Michael Jordan and Lebron James.
In 2003, Nike made a huge splash by signing the most famous soccer player in the world Cristiano Ronaldo. This increased Nike’s presence worldwide and especially across Europe.
How Adidas Increased Their Popularity
Adidas increased their popularity by collaborating with rap superstar Kanye West. When the Yeezy Boost 350 was first released it was ridiculed. Overtime, the shoe grew on people and it became the most sought after shoe on the sneaker market.
Kanye West created a shoe that looked nothing like any other shoe ever made. His creativity and releasing a limited supply of the shoes created insane amounts of hype that has never been seen in the sneaker market before.
The Adidas and Kanye West collaboration has a huge role to play in Adidas’s increase in popularity.
Is Nike Better Than Adidas?
Nike and Adidas are two of the biggest sportswear brands in the world. Since both brands are so popular, it’s hard to choose which brand is better.
On one hand, Nike makes great products and on the other hand, so does Adidas.
Nike makes great sneakers like the Jordans, Nike Blazers and Airforce 1’s. They also have really cool collaborations with celebreties like Drake and Travis Scott as well as athletes like Lebron James.
When it comes to Adidas, they also have some great products like the Ultraboost, Yeezy and Stan Smith. Adidas has really picked up their game by collaborating with Kanye West, Pharell and Bad Bunny.
There are countless reasons to like both brands, so the choice is really up to the consumer. When it comes to price, both brands have their affordable products and more expensive products. Both Nike and Adidas are in the same price range.
At the end of the day, both brands have their own unique products and it comes down to which ones the consumer likes best.
