Whether it’s for time management, academic help, or enjoyment, taking advantage of mobile apps is so important.

As a recent college graduate, I’ve had my fair share of apps that have been helpful and some that are not. Throughout my time in college, I found the best apps for college students that helped me graduate!

With that being said, here are the best mobile apps for college students.

CamScanner is a free app for scanning documents. Instead of paying to use the scanner on campus, you can download CamScanner and scan documents directly from your phone.

A college professor showed me this app, and I’ve consistently used it since. This app is certainly worth downloading, especially since it’s free!

7. Duolingo

If you’re looking for a free, fun, and effective way to learn a new language, consider downloading Duolingo. In college, you may have a course on learning a different language, this is where Duolingo comes in handy.

Duolingo is a language learning tool that covers the different aspects of language learning, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking. During my college years, I was tasked with learning French. Despite diligently completing the required assignments, I found myself struggling to grasp the language.

Whether you use Quizlet to finish assignments quickly or to learn new things is up to you. However, there is no denying that this app is extremely useful and saves a ton of time.

9. Photomath

If you’re struggling with a math class, consider downloading Photomath. Photomath is an app that takes a photo of a math equation and gives you the steps for solving it.

Although many students use this app as a quick way to do their homework, it can be useful for other reasons.

If you’re having trouble solving a math equation, Photomath will give you a step-by-step explanation. This is a great app for improving math, and it’s free.

Throughout college, I used this app regularly because it was so helpful. Instead of hiring a tutor or asking my teacher for help, I could just use Photomath, which would give me the steps for solving any equation.
